Some people scream and yell at their kids.  Others take toys away, and still others put their kids in time-out.  I, on the other hand, threaten my children with giant imaginary robots that watch to make sure they eat their dinner.

My kids will forever tell tales of what it was like to have a nerd for a dad.

My Phone is Smarter Than Your Second Grader

First, an apology.  I realized when I dated this cartoon that I hadn't done a proper "My Life in Comics" strip since January 24th.  I have put up some of the other things I've been working on, but this definitely got off track. I am truly sorry and I hope I haven't lost any of my readers...

Here it is.

This is the first cartoon to feature my brother.  I predict he will be mad at me for two reasons.  1.) I decided to draw this after I last saw him with a beard.  2.) This conversation never happened.  It is a joke I've had rolling around in my head for years.  Sorry man... you just fit, that's all.

Why So Serious?

So instead of doing the obvious Batman character for this "Origins" piece, I decided to have this one feature the villain.  It's the Joker, of course.  Again, only pencils so far, but you get the idea.

Those are crayola markers.  Washable.  This scene may look distinctly familiar to my brother.  He did this when he was a kid with one major difference.  He cut his hair into a V shape in the front and colored it green. My mom was thrilled.  I thought it was awesome.
